The DOT 3170 stool is included in the Objects series from Fritz Hansen and is designed by Arne Jacobsen. Arne Jacobsen designed the DOT 3170 in 1954 during the same process as he created the Ant chair in collaboration with Fritz Hansen. The DOT 3170 has a nice seat that is dressed in premium leather left over from the crafting of the Egg and the Swan armchairs. Note that the design on the base varies depending on the seat.
- Black - Seat of Cowboy leather, a base of powder coated steel.
- Walnut - Seat of Elegance leather, a base of chrome plated steel.
